Raad🐾

My name is Raad, which means thunder in Arabic. For most of my life, I knew only the racing and breeding farm. The track was my world - hard ground, gates that snapped open, and the endless chase of something I could never catch. I ran because I had to, not because I wanted to. When I wasn’t running, I was kept for breeding, my worth measured only in what I could give, never in who I was. But that life is behind me now. Today I am discovering what freedom feels like. I rest on blankets instead of concrete, I walk on soft grass, and I am learning that hands can bring comfort, not commands. I carry myself with quiet strength - elegant, gentle, and noble. Sometimes the old fears linger, but every day I find more courage. I am waiting for a forever home. If you open your heart to me, I will walk beside you with loyalty and grace, not because I must, but because I finally can.

my journey:

It’s been a long and exhausting road from the day I was rescued to where I am today. I’ve faced moments of fear, sadness, and uncertainty, but also discovered love, care, and hope along the way. Words alone can’t capture the ups and downs of my story, or the gratitude I feel for those who gave me a second chance. That’s why I’d love for you to take a look at the photos below:
