His Story:
Kanchan was born in a street market, where a kind worker cared for him and other cats, with one of our volunteers regularly bringing them food. One night, while the volunteer was returning from work, she found Kanchan lying among the plants on the roadside. She rushed him to the vet, where it turned out he had a spinal fracture and a hip dislocation, and couldn’t urinate or defecate without help. After several days under observation, vets suggested euthanasia, saying he wouldn’t survive — but our volunteer refused to give up. She took him to several clinics for second opinions until he finally stayed at Vet4Pet, where he received months of intensive care and physiotherapy. The result was a miracle — Kanchan recovered completely, can now use the litter box on his own, and walks perfectly again! Personality: Kanchan is affectionate, clean, and very gentle. He loves playing, jumping, and enjoys belly rubs. Great with kids, dogs, and cats — a perfect fit for multi-pet families! Looking for: A warm, loving home to make up for everything he’s been through. He currently lives with other cats but dreams of a forever family to give him the love and security he truly deserves
It’s been a long and tiring journey from the day I was rescued to the cat I am today. There were moments of flattened ears, fear, and uncertainty – but along the way I also found warm laps, gentle hands, and hope. Words alone can’t capture every twist and turn of my tale, or the purrs of gratitude I feel for the people who gave me a second chance. That’s why I’d love you to take a peek at the photos below
