Peel is a gentle, sensitive soul who is still learning to feel safe around people. Like some of our more timid cats, he prefers to take things slowly and will need a patient family willing to give him the time and understanding he deserves. Life at the sanctuary can feel overwhelming for a shy cat, so Peel would thrive in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace. While he may not be the first to seek attention, every small step forward is a sign of growing confidence. With kindness, routine, and plenty of reassurance, we believe Peel will continue to blossom.
About Peel:
It’s been a long and tiring journey from the day I was rescued to the cat I am today. There were moments of flattened ears, fear, and uncertainty – but along the way I also found warm laps, gentle hands, and hope. Words alone can’t capture every twist and turn of my tale, or the purrs of gratitude I feel for the people who gave me a second chance. That’s why I’d love you to take a peek at the photos below
