I still remember that day - the loud noise of cars, the heat of the road, and the fear in my mom’s eyes. We were hiding on the side of the highway, hungry and exhausted. My mom, Assia, tried to keep me safe, even when she was scared herself. She never left my side.
Then, one day, everything changed. A kind person stopped. They saw us - really saw us - two dogs just trying to survive. They spoke softly, offered food, and took us away from that dangerous place. For the first time, I felt safe in someone’s arms.
My name is Neymar, and I’m about 5-6 months old, a Saluki mix boy. I was rescued together with my mom, Assia. She taught me how to be brave and gentle, and I got my sweet nature from her. I love running, playing, and getting cuddles. Life is so much better now, but there’s still one thing missing - a forever home.
I dream of a family who will love me the way I love them, someone who will never let me go, just like my rescuers did that day on the highway.
Maybe that family could be you? 🐾
