I didn’t understand what was happening. One moment, I
was playing like any happy pup. The next, I was alone -
no home, no family, no one calling my name.
I wandered the streets, confused and scared. People
passed by. Some glanced, most didn’t. I was hungry,
tired, and starting to wonder if anyone would ever
really see me.
And then, someone did. She saw me. She offered food,
spoke gently, and gave me something I hadn’t felt in a
long time: safety.
Now I’m in a warm place, with people who care. I’m
safe. I’m healing. But I’m still waiting for something
more—a real home. A forever kind of love.
I should probably mention something… My teeth?
They’re a little different from other dogs’. They give
me a quirky little smile that makes me stand out. Some
might see them as “imperfect,” but I think they just
make me me. I may look a little different - but I’m still
beautiful. And I promise, I’ve got the kindest heart to
match.
I’m Loki. I’ve been let down before, but I haven’t given
up. I’m still hoping for someone who sees past the scars
and the quirks - to the loyal, loving soul underneath.
