Hi, I’m Miles 🐾
I still remember the day my life changed—June 14th, 2023. I was
hurt, my leg was broken, and I didn’t know what would happen to
me. But then, I found myself hiding under a car. I don’t know if it
was luck or fate, but that’s where kind humans noticed me and
decided I deserved another chance.
I was so young, still hopeful, even though my leg ached. I got the
care I needed, and slowly, I began to heal. After that, I was given a
foster home for 5 months. Oh, I loved it there—especially the kids.
I’d try to curl up on top of them like I was a tiny teacup pup. (I still
think I’m small, even though apparently, I’m not! 😅)
The truth is, I love children. Their laughter, their energy—it makes
me wag my tail endlessly. The I’m also very affectionate with all
people. I’m confident, outgoing, and I’ve never been shy about
making new friends.
And oh boy, do I love my toys and treats! Give me a squeaky toy or
a tasty snack, and I’ll show you just how happy I can be. I’m also
really food-motivated, which means I’m always eager to learn and
work for rewards.
I was potty trained once, but being back in a shelter has been
confusing for me, and I might need a little refresher. I know I can
do it again with patience and guidance.
Now I’m living at the Furkids Sanctuary, waiting patiently for my
forever home. I may not be the tiny lap dog I imagine myself to be,
but I promise I have a giant heart full of love to give. All I want is a
family who will see me for who I am: a goofy, affectionate,
confident, big-hearted boy named Miles. 💙
