I’m Caesar - Don’t Judge Me by My Breed or
My Past 🖤
They call me Caesar - a strong name, I know.
But behind the name, the cropped ears, and the
missing tail… I’m just a gentle soul looking for love.
I was picked up by the police, and that usually
comes with a label: “aggressive.”
But I wasn’t. I was just scared, confused, and
alone.
People look at me and see a "tough dog" - but
what they don’t see is how I lean in for cuddles,
how I get excited just to see a friendly face, how
I wag my whole back (since I’ve got no tail left to
wag).
Yes… whoever had me before cut my tail and
cropped my ears — not for medical reasons, but
to make me look more intimidating.
Some humans do this to dogs of certain breeds to
make them appear like “guard dogs” - tougher,
meaner… It’s not only unnecessary, it’s painful and
cruel. And I had no choice.
Luckily, Furkids saw past all of that. They looked
into my eyes and saw hope, not harm. They
offered to take me from the police shelter - and
that’s when my new story began.
Now I’m safe. I’m thriving. I’m kind, playful, and
just want a human to call my own. I get along with
people, and all I ask is that you give me a chance.
Because I’m not a breed.
I’m not a reputation.
I’m just Caesar - and I’m ready for my forever
home 🐾
