Furkids by Nagham Badawi is an initiative that began in 2021 with Nagham Badawi’s passion for
rescuing dogs in need. What started as a single act of kindness has blossomed into a communitydriven
effort fueled by the dedication of volunteers and the support of caring individuals like you.
Over the years...
Our initiative has grown, and we’ve been able to extend our reach, both locally and internationally. Through the collective efforts of our team, we’ve had the privilege of re-homing or providing assistance to over 300 dogs, each finding their own path to a brighter future.
Currently...
Currently, we’re caring for more than 50 dogs, each with their own story and journey. But we want to make one thing clear – we’re not a shelter in the traditional sense. Instead, we operate based on paid boarding and fostering, with the financial support coming from a group of genuine individuals who believe in our cause.
Located in Qatar, Furkids by Nagham Badawi is more than just a place for dogs — it’s a beacon of hope and compassion, made possible by the love and dedication of our volunteers and supporters. Recently, we proudly opened the doors to our very own farm, giving all our animals the extra space, care, and better day-to-day existence they so desperately needed after lives marked by mistreatment, abandonment, and neglect. This new sanctuary offers them a safe haven to heal and thrive. However, to maintain the premises and continue supporting these precious lives, we rely heavily on consistent donations and the incredible support of our community. Together, we’re making a difference, one paw at a time.
