Hi, my name is Sameer - a Saluki mix with long legs, a soft heart, and a story to tell. I was rescued from a racing farm, where I spent my early life running every day. We were taught to chase, to compete, to always be fast. But what I really wanted was someone to stop running - just long enough to hold me. One day, the kind people from Furkids came for me. They didn’t care about how fast I could run - they cared about me. That’s when my life changed. Now I live at the Furkids Sanctuary, where I’ve finally learned what peace feels like. I love playing with other dogs and being around humans. I’m gentle, friendly, and love a good cuddle after a walk. I’m not great with cats (I get a bit too curious), but with people and dogs, I’m all heart. Every evening, I rest under the open sky and imagine my forever home - a place where I can stretch my legs in the yard, curl up on the couch, and finally belong. Maybe that home is yours.
